2. ILCRA has also been fortunate to have a new second $1,000 scholarship that was created in 2023.  The Seymour Wolfe Scholarship was created to assist one stenographic court reporting student who is committed to the profession and has a passion for giving back.

This scholarship is funded by generous donations from the Wolfe Family, Muriel Wolfe, Melinda Wolfe-Inadomi and Lise-Wolfe Adam, as well as the family of Fred Rosenberg.

Seymour was a dedicated and generous person with his time, finances, and leadership to help make the profession great for all students, reporters, captioners, teachers and all that are in our profession.  He was a lifetime member of ILCRA and served as a leader for the association many times.

Attached is the 2023 Seymour Wolfe Scholarship Application form.  Please send this to all stenographic court reporting students who may be in need of financial assistance.
